Portraits
This genre is typically commission based. The artist is challenged to capture not just the physical resemblance but the spirituality of the subject. The size and the media varies according to the nature of the commission. These portraits busts are first modeled in clay in the presence of the subject or based on pictures. Once the clay version is completed the sculpture goes thru the casting process, being finalized in metal, resin, plaster, etc.
